If there’s one thing I’m certain of, these are uncertain times.
It’s a phrase we hear in ad after ad…”uncertain times.” Today, as I post this—the morning of 9/11—I have to ask… when were the “certain times”?
I’m ready to put that phrase to bed. Certainty is a luxury only mathematicians can afford. The rest of us can only make educated guesses as to what’s going to happen next. Which is why in these “times” the quality we should admire most from our employees, our neighbors and our leaders is adaptability.
I’m certain of that.
